Forêt des cèdres, Provence

The forest of cedar trees was planted in 1861 on high land in the Petit Luberon in central Provence. The Atlantic cedars cover an area of 150 acres (60 hectares) – once it was 4 times this size.

The forest is a short distance to the south of the tourist spots of Gordes and Roussillon.
